During COVID-19, we are delighted and proud to announce that ARUTALA has been selected to be a part of Oculus Independent Software Vendors (ISV) Program. Oculus is a brand of Facebook Technologies that create and develop Virtual Reality (VR) headsets like Oculus Quest, Oculus Rift, and Oculus Go. The Oculus ISV Program is a program that works with enterprise developers and independent software vendors (ISVs) to engage with Oculus, the goal of this program is to accelerate customer adoption of VR solutions built for Oculus enterprise products.
As a part of Oculus ISV Program, ARUTALA also has direct access to collaborate with Oculus teams, tools to scale our VR products, and the ability to provide feedback and solutions to help accelerate customer adoption of VR in Indonesia and Asia-Pacific region. On Monday (28/9), we have interviewed our Chief of Executive Officer (CEO) – Indra Haryadi regarding this achievement,
1. What is your opinion about the Oculus ISV Program?
“Well, Oculus ISV Program is a very interesting program especially for developers and independent software vendors, as we know that the VR industry has increased dramatically and Oculus has become the market leader of VR devices. So this will be a good path in supporting developers around the world to learn and collaborate with the Oculus (team).”
2. What made you decide to join and collaborate for the Oculus ISV Program?
“The main reasons why we decided to join the Oculus ISV Program it’s because in fact it can’t be denied that Oculus’s brand is incredibly powerful, dominates the market share, and top of mind for VR devices. We hope in the future, there will be another collaboration between ARUTALA and Oculus.”
3. Recently, ARUTALA has been selected as a part of Oculus ISV Program, how do you see it? What is the opportunity and benefit for ARUTALA?
“We are so grateful to become a part of Oculus ISV Program. We have a vision this program will be the first step to increase our capability especially in developing VR products, delivering VR products with high quality of content, and capable to be implemented in every sector.”
4. What is the biggest challenge and what are the future plans of ARUTALA after being selected to be a part of Oculus ISV Program?
“One of the biggest challenges so far is to create a mass virtual training program that can be used for lots of users. In the future, we hope that we will be able to create and develop another innovative and powerful VR product.”
We can’t deny that COVID-19 has made unique things happen, so many companies are trying to find new ways of training and learning for their employees or connect to their potential customers. Oculus ISV Program gives ARTUALA the “super ability” to make VR more useful and accessible for everyone, we can see that VR on Oculus is a magic device to eliminate physical barriers and provide powerful new ways to connect, collaborate, and learn.
